The AMSP and Oracle
Oracle is one of the largest and most successful software companies in the world. For the last few years they have been intensively acquiring new business such as Siebel and PeopleSoft. This increasing sophistication in terms of the products and services they offer has meant a growing critical need to integrate their proposition, particularly for larger clients, across lines of business, geographies and the supply chain. This change implies for many managers a shift in mindset from a highly focused almost individualistic approach with a firm eye on the next quarter, to a management style that embraces the best of this but can also operate more innovatively, flexibly and collaboratively across boundaries.
For many managers this represents a big personal shift. Our sister company Apter Development have been working on a major leadership programme across the whole of the Europe the Middle East and Africa to provide momentum and clarity to this change. Over 80 managers attended the programme in Czech Republic, Switzerland and Egypt. At the end of the programme, titled Managing Beyond Boundaries was a personal change model based upon Reversal Theory which used the AMSP to generate insight. The programme has been enthusiastically applauded and the AMSP rated as a key component."
