Marie is Senior Partner at Apter Development LLP. Her specific areas of interest and expertise include leadership development, the design of inspirational development interventions and team facilitation. Marie is commited to outstanding results and focuses on helping leaders to find new ways of operating that are beneficial to their organisations, their staff and themselves.
Marie is particularly skilled as a facilitator and coach having worked in a diverse range of organisations with managers at all levels. Her clients enjoy her 'straight talking' approach which enables them to explore and confront key issues within a supportive environment.
Prior to founding Apter International and Apter Development, Marie was Managing Consultant at TDA Consulting. Her early career was spent at The Chartered Management Institute in the UK where she worked for 10 years running the Business Development operation which created the largest management qualification in the UK, she was responsible for all competency-based and senior management development programmes with corporate clients.
During her career, Marie has worked in the UK and internationally with organisations from many sectors, including manufacturing, brewing, insurance, pharmaceuticals, rail maintenance, public sector and finance, and with organisations such as SABMiller Europe, Knoll Pharmaceuticals, The Boots Company, HSBC, The Weetabix Food Company and The Economist.
Marie has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development, is qualified in Psychometric Testing and has qualifications in Management, Psychology and Training. She is a member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and the Institute of Directors.
